Bed ManagementOverviewPerformance ImprovementBenefit Analysis Access Bed Control

Effective bed management in a hospital requires timely communication and coordination of efforts among clinical staff, patient placement staff, nursing unit staff, environmental services staff, admitting staff, and patient transportation staff. With Access Bed Control™ (ABC), both bed status and patient pending admission status is communicated among these parties, accurately, automatically, and immediately. ABC is a management tool designed to facilitate efficient patient matching with appropriate beds, especially important for unscheduled admissions, and also efficient bed management. The result is reduced bed turnaround time and improved patient flow and bed utilization through greater productivity of key personnel.
